Dear Friends,

Again, thank you so much for the prayers, Mass intentions and acts of mercy.  Although everyone is understandably busy with their own lives, we have blessed to witness a great outpouring of love through meals.  These "acts of mercy" are such a blessing to me and my family as one less thing to worry about when there seems to be so much to do in such little time.  

I am feeling pretty good.  I have noticed that I tire a little easier, but that is expected.  I continue to marvel at the power of prayer and the strength that I draw from your prayers via this web site.  In speaking with friends, it seems that even those around me and my family are feeling the graces.  

As I petitioned in my last update, please pray for my Mom.  Her surgery is scheduled for 9:30am Monday, so please keep her in your prayers.  Again, she had 93% blockages and is having triple bi-pass surgery.  In addition, please pray for the safety of my family members that will be coming to town.  St. Anthony guide them! 

"Jesus, you are the Divine Physician.  Please wrap your arms around my mother. Guide the doctors and nurses and all those who are taking care of her in the hospital.  Keep her safe and free from harm.  St. Joseph, please intercede for my father, who like you is guiding our family during these difficult times.  Grant him the strength and graces he needs.  We ask this through the intercession of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.  Amen."
